Fanuc A16B-2201-0101 Memory board. CNC stock this Zero model C memory board being a surface mount serial memory pcb fitted on 32 bit masters, half or full size dependent of configuration.

Running the O-C control or O-D, O-F config in which it stores the 32K system memory, expanded to 128k with additional memory ICs. If ladder is PMC-L; then chips stored on memory card. Further interfacing via fiber optical output with AC serial amplifier units or ALPHA spindle modules via converter.

In the case of the earlier yellow case AC serial amplifiers; its a direct fibre optice link between this memory board and the drive. However when this board controls the ALPHA spindle’s it cables out fibre optic too link convertor which hard wires into the SPM.

Dependent on the configuration the A16B-2201-0101 may be on lathes, machining centre’s, grinders, EDM, punchers and much more.
