Fanuc Servo Amplifier Units SVU.

These versions of ALPHA series drives and self powered and unlike the rest of the ALPHA modules; can be independent. The SVU’s include the earliest aE Series 6070 which was for very low end machine tools such as the Harrison ALPHA.

Then the type-B 6089 series which were far more powerful standalone servo amplifiers used in many FA, CNC and robotic environments. Lastly the 6090 which was the last of the SVU’s known as the SVUC as it replaced the C-series amplifier units; and was superceeded in the ai/bi generation by BETA servo units.
